BIG tip-don't try to tort and fill the ball cake (duh! on me). I had to carve it to get it mostly round. Other than that it was fine. Don't forget to use proper support while placing the ball on top of the other cake.

Thanks, littleal. I used the "grss tip"-I believe it is Wilton 233. Just position tip on cake and pull up while you squeeze out. Good luck!

Thanks, i tried to make one today with hexagon and pentagon but the pieces start to not join up did you have the same problem
