This cake was made for a huge fan of Miller lite for his birthday. Carved from a sheet cake, and then covered in fondant and painted with gold luster dust. Fondant labels hand-drawn with food color markers. This cake was lots of fun to do!
OMG. This cake is incredible!! i thought first NO WAY is this a cake...just look at the glass!! I had to crank my neck closer to my compurter screen to see whether it's cake! wow & wow!. Wld you mind if i asked you around how much you charged for this masterpiece?! and how on earth did you get the fondant to look like glass?
Thank you so much for the compliment! I made a very brown colored fondant and then just painted in up and down strokes with gold luster dust. I think my brush strokes really helped with the appearance.
wow. so muc progress. this is great!
I can't believe the shine on that bottle! It looks fantastic, and nice job on the freehand labels.
really incredible work. Worthy of a food network challenge for the next special they should have: "The most realistic looking cake"! :D
This is an amazing cake. Your artwork is fantastic and I absolutely love the "To/From" label. I really love the bottle cap also.
