In album: tree
This is a cake I made for my husband to take to work for the birthday of one of his buddy's. They call the guy "Stumpy" (I didn't ask) -- so we decided to make a tree stump!

Looks great. I am doing one of these for a groom's cake with the bride and groom's initials "carved" into the tree. What did use to make the roots at the bottom of tree? Is it just icing or is there cake under there?

I used icing to make the roots -- just piled up some and then covered it like the sides. Good luck with your grooms cake!

This is too funny. My dad runs a tree service for a living, and he's a joker, so this is going to be his next cake :)
