Another Lv Purse

Another Lv Purse on Cake Central

This is my second attempt at a purse, my first was a real disaster. I'm really proud of it. Things can only get better from here, right? I made this cake for a friends 29th b-day next year she'll be celebrating anniversaries of her 29th like the rest of us. Can any one tell me what if I were to make this cake for a profit what I should charge for it? Thanks all you fellow CC'ers for the inspiration.

Whoa, this is really awesome! Do you have a pattern or instructions you used? If so, I'd really appreciate you pm'ing me, this is one of the best purse cakes I've seen, I can't believe it's only your second one!

Great job! I charge $3.50 per serving for 3-D cakes but it still depends on how much time you put into it & what you feel comfortable charging...especially piping the designs on. I had a purse cake that took 9 plus I painted the designs on. It really depends on you...some charge more or less. You're good so charge what you feel is good for you :) :)

Thanks guys so much for the nice comments. It feels wonderful to know others think I did as good a job for my second attempt as I do. My friend was so funny she said she could not cut it. This cake took me about 8 hours to do but it was a learning process along the way. I got the direction on how to do a cake purse right here on cc with the exception that instead of the 11 x 15 pan I used a square 10inch pan. Thanks again!!!
