Two tier sponge with vanilla buttercream filling and sugarpaste covering, the sugarpaste rose is one that I made before, and I made a petal to go in each glass. I brought the stand from a sale on Sunday for £2 and the shot glasses £1 $6 in total (not a bad bargain!!). I thought I'd have a go at designing a wedding cake for my portfolio.

Beautiful. I used the same ribbon on my cousin's wedding cake last year. Would you mind sharing your sponge cake recipe? I have never made one and would like to try an authentic recipe.
