Pearls and Roses Wedding Cake

14", 12", 10", 8" and 6" square cake dummy. Designed for a recent bridal show. Iced in (fake) buttercream, w/ hand rolled fondant pearls, and rosebuds. Fondant stripes and diamonds, dusted in pearl dust. Gumpaste bow and rose topper. Inspired by a Polly Schoonmaker cake.

What a classic looking cake! I'd expect to see this in a magazine. Saving this in the hopes that a bride wants me to make this!! (what's "fake" bc?)

Beautiful cake. I love how each tier is decorated with a different design but they do not clash with each other.

Thanks you guys! Time consuming, but loved making it! I say "fake" buttercream - it's basically powdered sugar, shortening and water - wouldn't eat it!
