1St Gumpaste Flower
First attempt at gumpaste...did 50/50. The part I found difficult was wrapping the stem in floral tape! I used the wilton kit...not too fond of the wooden tools that were included.

very pretty flower!!!! If you do 100%gumpaste, you can roll your flower petals thinner!...also if you cover your wire before you cut them or do anything..just take a piece of tape the length of the wire and wind it over itself a bit at the top and then twist the wire whilst stretching the tape a bit and the tape will twirl nicely round the wire..then you can cut the size wire you need and continue on...Great job for your first..I didn't like the wooden tools either (or the pastic ones for that matter..l...
