Grooms Cake
I did this for my brother's wedding last fall. Chocolate fudge cake, filled with chocolate IMBC, iced with chocolate buttercream which was then covered with chocolate ganache and the borders are chocolate IMBC. The truck is my brothers and he wanted it on the cake. And yes, some guest stuck a finger into the top border . Grrrrrr.
Your cake looks and sounds delicious...I have decorated for years and I use to cater but not any more..my biggest pet peave was when a guest would come by my cake, touch it and then look up and ask "Is that real !" I guess we should be flattered but it infuriates me !
It was well before the wedding started, and it was a family member who touched it. . . they knew it was real and wanted a taste, right in FRONT. I could have screamed. I hadn't even removed the board I transported it on yet and someone had to come and stick their finger in it. :x
