Dark Chocolate Sugar Cookies in pear shapes with dark brown stems, sage green backgrounds and sage green sanding sugar detailing along sides.
The wedding tomorrow is all chocolate and pears...I can't wait to post the cake photo!!
Those are sooooo pretty antonia. Your cookies are always spectacular.. Almost too pretty to eat ..but I'm sure they are so yummy they will gobble them up.
I showed these to my Dh and he absolutely loved them...I did myself too...Interestingly, I've heard and have yet to try, that chocolate and pears pair nicely....Someone mentioned a tutorial...Is that so?
If someone had asked me a month ago if I'd ever want to decorate cookies, I'd have said a big "NO" (and looked at them like they had two heads) but after seeing all your AMAZING cookies, I can hardly wait for your tutorial!
I was reading in the other posts about your posting an article on decorating cookies,.. I am really anxious to see this . I love all your cookies and am looking forward to hearing some of your tips.
Yes, the tutuorial is in the works! I'm getting digital photos so it is step-by-step for everyone. Hopefully by mid-Sept when my wedding cake orders get a bit less crazy!
Will your tutorial be posted to this site? i am very interested in learning how to decorate cookies. Your work is gorgeous. Also, where can I find the chocolate sugar cookie recipe?
I want to try these and was wondering if you piped the bottom layer, let it dry and then piped the "shadow" and before it dried you sprinkled sugar on it?? Did I guess right? These are simply elegant!!! Oh, Ioved your tutorial and your RI icing is great ... used it for a cake and was VERY pleased! Thank you!
