My First Mmf Cake!

My First Mmf Cake! on Cake Central

First time I have ever covered a cake in Fondant. The MMF was not that hard to make but for me the biggest challenge is getting from the counter to the cake! I will definitely use this recipe again as it taste better than Wilton and a lot cheaper!

Good job!! I roll my MMF, place my hand in the center, flip half of it back over my hand/arm; have the cake really close to your, lift the MMF and place where your hand/arm is in the center of the cake.. take your free hand and flip/lift the fondant that is draped over your arm off onto the cake .. works like a charm for me.. hope that makes sense lol .. I like your bright colors.. looks like a fun cake.. good job!

Nice job! Love the colors. A trick I learned here for fondant is to roll it on a piece of vinyl. It sticks enough to place on the cake then peels off easily. Chocolate fondant may need a dusting of cocoa powder.
