It's lovely for a first, Try crumbcoating it next time, a thin layer of frosting let it set then apply the thicker layer. You did good!!!
I did crumb coat,but I think it wasn't thin enough. Next time I will freeze for a few min. Wish me luck, thanks for looking!!

i think this is really cute ... been doing cakes for years now and every once-n-awhile the crumbs revolt!! I always try to brush my cake down a little to knock any crumbs off and then crumb coat! Anyways, I love your cake! :D
I love your cake, a few crumbs don't detract from your great work at all ;-D
