Orthodontics on Cake Central

WASC covered in BC and Satin Ice with Satin Ice and Gumpaste accents. Wire is real. This was made for our local orthodonist office who has a tech that is leaving.

Thanks so much for your kind comments...the brackets are made by rolling out gray gumpaste 3/8" thick; using the smallest square fondant/gumpaste cutter made by Wilton(come in a 3pack), cut out squares. Using a wire or toothpick made a cross pattern on the square. Paint with silver luster dust!! :)

Again, thanks so much. The wire is a floral wire. The pan was a 13 1/2 x 9 7/8 oval. Next to the biggest size of Wilton ovals. :wink:

This is a cute idea. My DD has braces and wants them off. Maybe when she gets them off I will make her a similar cake. How did you make the brakets?

Could you tell me how you did the teeth? I want to do this for my orth. We are done with them in Nov. till my kids turn 13 for their 2nd set of braces. Great cake!!!!!
