WASC covered in BC and Satin Ice with Satin Ice and Gumpaste accents. Wire is real.
This was made for our local orthodonist office who has a tech that is leaving.
Thanks so much for your kind comments...the brackets are made by rolling out gray gumpaste 3/8" thick; using the smallest square fondant/gumpaste cutter made by Wilton(come in a 3pack), cut out squares. Using a wire or toothpick made a cross pattern on the square. Paint with silver luster dust!! :)
Could you tell me how you did the teeth? I want to do this for my orth. We are done with them in Nov. till my kids turn 13 for their 2nd set of braces. Great cake!!!!!

This is so clever ! What size round pan did you use for this?
that is hilarious. Great Job!
This is beautiful=) What is the wire made of?
Excellant! Great idea. :)
Again, thanks so much. The wire is a floral wire. The pan was a 13 1/2 x 9 7/8 oval. Next to the biggest size of Wilton ovals.
How cute is that?!?! IT's perfect for its purpose :D
Very clever!
