Small cake for a bridal shower. Paper goods at the shower are silver and white, so I chose to do everything in that scheme. Dress is made on a form of sugar ice cream cones with a modeling chocolate "bust". Dress is my design with handpainted fondant with applied sanding sugar panels. Cake has overpiped scrolls painted with silver luster dust. All edible.

This is beautiful. My daughter is getting married in April, she would love this.. Is your cake fondant? I'm wondering if you could also do the dress from fondant.

This is breath taking!!! So I have a few questions. Is the dress made of fondant? And also your silver color what did you use, and how did you do the scroll work on the cake? Was it a pattern press?? Sorry for the questions, but this has to be one of the most amazing detail work!!!

Cake is buttercream.Dress is 50/50 gumpaste fondant. Silver is luster dust mixed with peppermint extract. Scrollwork is an impression mat. Thanks for the compliments--very much appreciated.

Very beautiful. I love how the cake is offset from the board. The handpainted scrolls add a very elegant touch.
