Chopper, Bike

Chopper, Bike on Cake Central

It was a challenge figuring this out, I'm glad my client really liked it. It was for her husband's 50th birthday - he rides a bike. The flames are colour-flow and decorated with fondant pieces, iced in BC.

Thanks for your comments I got the idea to shape the cake from a site someone gave me (can't remember the name) You bake cake in 9x13 pan and when cooled, divide evenly into 3 sections. I stacked with filling in between to hold together, froze the cake and cut to shape the best I could Once I got the shape, I iced with BC and made up fondant pieces which I painted with silver lustre dust. The wheel is a wagonwheel cookie, The only thing not edible are the dowels -I painted w/lustre dust
