Test Cake Gone Wrong......
Well.....I was tired, and what more can I say.....by the way, everything on the cake was purchased from the dollar store. $3.00 for the roses, and $2.00 for the bows on top. Not bad looking, but the cake was not even close to my best. I tried to "faux fondant" with creamcheese icing. I may have worked if I hadn't chose to use Bavarian creme filling, that kept oozing out the sides and making them sag. Lesson learned........
pretty design and if you make an icing dam you might have better luck with the filling not oozing. You did great with your flowers and bows..I have to check out my dollar store! At least your probs were on a test cake :wink:
