Gothic Birthday Cake
I made this cake for my son's 12 B-Day This was my first time making flowers I used the Duff Style Rose instructions. My first time using my Mother in Law Meringue icing recipe, I think I'm going to keep using my Butter cream icing because was so difficult to get it smooth. And first time making figures out of fondant(skulls, flowers) and molded sugar (letters)
I think you did a great job! My 12 yr old daughter would love it! She's into skulls right now too. :wink: Where did you get the Duff style rose instructions? Are they on his website? This is definately an inspiration for my daughters next b-day cake! :)
