A friends kid's birthday boy, A BCT and boy was it hard... I ended up in tears and my mom had to come and rescue me from the sadness of it all... It looks great now but it was pretty sad but this was my first BCT so really after much drinking I feel great about it... hehehe...
I think it turned out pretty good. I haven't attempted a BCT yet.
It doesn't look flat like a BCT...however you did it, that lion and your lettering look great! Makes my hand hurt to think of all that piping!

I have to say that not only your cake, but your comments made me smile !! I laughed hysterically having "been there" myself on creating things of perfection for our dear children's birtday parties. BTW, I think the cake turned out wonderful.
