Cars Cake
I made this for my son's 5th birthday party. It was a two-layer almond sour cream cake with chocolate cream cheese icing. The mountain is rice crispy treats covered with fondant. I wanted to try to make a 3D cake of Lightning to put on here - but my son wanted all of Lightning's friends on the cake - which is way beyond my current talent level... hahaha.
After watching this movie 200 times with my daughter - this cake is perfect! Love the signs in the back with the song! Thats the one that gets stuck in my head!! Excellent job!
Thank you so much! That is the only part of the song that my son knows... so that's what I put on there! He sings it ALL the time... hahahaha.

Thanks Newatdecorating. I followed the tutorial in the article section here on CC to make the trees. They are very simple. Put pretzel logs inside upside-down sugar cones. The pine branches are royal icing.
