In community album: 2006 Holiday Cake Contest
This cake is all buttercream iced in different shades of blue. Small beaded border sprinkled with snowflake quins.
The "ornaments" are made from blown sugar. I made spirals from pulled sugar for the "Hangers".
This is a 8" cake and 5" cake. They were very tall tiers!
The family name is in fondant with pearl dust!

Family Holiday Cake

    I use a clay gun e for the names and I use a SMBC that smooths out nicely! Thanks for the kind words!
