Fairy Toadstool House

Fairy Toadstool House on Cake Central

The other pic I've uploaded of this cake was awful, I lightened it too much so the colours all looked really faded. Luckily a friend emailed me this one. Inspired by Debbie Brown's smurf house.

you guys are awesome...the ground cover is marzipan and I just smooshed it onto the board and then poked a star tip all over. Another D Brown idea!

This is a wonderful cake. I must have missed it when it was originally posted. I adore the fairies, those lips are fabulous!!!

Just another illustration of how easy it is to overlook postings. They do get lost in the shuffle. Sorry I missed this when it was first posted. Love the figures, the colors, the whimsy...everything!

I love this cake in that book! Your rendition is GREAT! (I think that your people would look very good even without the lips). The colors for this cake are just adorable! thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the lovely comments everyone, this was my daughters favourite cake so far and in September I have to try and better it! I'm dreading it as this one too about 10 hours...
