Fairborne, the Minnesota State Fair Mascots straw hat. Original recipe: Grandma's Old Fashioned Spice Cake entered into the C&H Sugar special state fair cake decorating contest. Strict perimeters included a round cake up to three layers and not to exceed 9" round and placed on a cardboard no bigger then 10 inches. Needed to be an original recipe cake. The BC frosting had a touch of spice also. Homemade Fondant, "not MMF." and chocolate transfer with Fairborne's likeness. Thank you for looking.
