This is a cake for a friend of mine who is having a baby. Her baby is due September 11th and her husband is in Iraq. It was kind of last minute its not the best work i can do but it will work.

ok you can see the cake and its not smooth but this is canned icing pilsbury doesnt crust and was very thin.

I love your cake! I'm going to do one for my sister in law soon - this is great inspiration. I just used pre-made frosting in a pinch last weekend - I added about 1/2 C. of powdered sugar and to my surprise it crusted fine. It's still a little too soft, but I think you've done a great job with this! Are the stars and balls fondant?

yes the stars and balls are fondant. the moon is cake
