My version of a Colette Peters cake. This is chocolate cake with peppermint candy filling and peppermint schnapps-flavored buttercream. Leaves/berries on top and bottom are fondant and leaves around the stringwork are royal. I didn't do the dots or the fondant cover on the CP model - I went for sparkle instead. I still only have my cheap digital so the picture isn't sharp :( But thanks for looking!

Just wish the photo was more clear so I could appreciate the beauty of the details. But I can definitely see it's a gorgeous cake! I like the swags and the addition of the edible glitter. A very pretty and festive cake, elegantly prepared.

Isn't Collette the greatest? I did this one last year, too, but your stringwork is a lot better than mine. I'm doing another of hers this year. She rules, and so do you!
