Victoria Sponge- The Hubby's Birthday Cake:)
Not your average birthday cake. For my husband's birthday this year, we've decided to forgo the traditional mounds of icing. Instead, he is getting treated to my version of a Victoria Sponge cake. A layer of lemon cheesecake cream and mixed berries sandwiched between two delicate sponge cakes. Dusted with powdered sugar and decorated with more berries and cheesecake cream. A great cake for a outdoor, summer birthday party!
