This is my yule log. Thanks to CC for all the help. It was chocolate genoise with coffee smbc filling and choc. smbc frosting. I used buttercream dream for the poinsettias and mushrooms. I forgot to stiffen the bc for mushrooms so they flopped a little.
Thanks ya'll. I just frosted with choc smbc, dissolved a little bit of cocoa powder in a little bit of water and worked it into the frosting to make it look like bark and swirled in the ends. It was easy since I didn't have to worry a bout smoothing the frosting.
