Grapevine Cake

Here is my first attempt with grapes for an italian themed retirement party. Constructive criticism is welcome! My DH thinks I should have made the grapes larger? The retiree just requested his cake be vanilla with a whipped type icing. I catered the entire event with the italian food and all so I think the cake suffered a little from the lack of time, but they liked it and that is what is important.
