thanks for all of the nice comments, this cake was a thorn in my side.. I hated doing it becuase I hate fondant, but all in all it turned out better than I thought... I fought forever on the roses because she wanted crimson.... I too agree about the cake topper, especially since you can't see his nails making marks in the ground... it was a short planned wedding, 3 weeks, so the truth behind the cake topper is probably pretty evident :)
