Final Exam For Intro. To Cakes
Inspired by a couple of cakes I saw on here. Inside is an Almond Sponge cake and Orange Buttercream. Outside covered in fondant. Branches were piped on with royal icing and the cherry blossoms were also glued on with royal icings. Cherry blossoms were cut out of fondant, dried in egg crates to shape them, and then painted with luster dust. There's about 170 of them on the cake. Kanji was done free-hand with food coloring and vodka. Working on getting a better photo. Not bad for my first wedding cake

Theresa- from top to bottom it says Love, Honor, Eternity. There's writing on the right and left sides as well that say Passion, Hope, Happiness and Loyalty.
