It's artificial (I haven't experimented with making flowers yet).

I love your cake!!! It is really pretty. How do you actually make the flowers on the cake? is it a stamp? or stencil? I see you wrote wilton cake stamping colors - I never heard of that...

The Wilton stamp colors were on clearance at my local A.C. Moore store, so I bought them just to experiment. I don't even know if they still sell them. They coordinated with foam stampers. I painted the flowers with a brush, then dragged the outline toward the center. It was quite easy and mistake-proof.
