Birthday Death Star
This is the cake that I made for my DH's birthday. It's pistachio cake with vanilla buttercream and MMF. I had troubles smoothing out the MMF at the bottom of the ball, but hopefully the painting covered that up!

So cool! There's no evidence in the picture that you had problems with the fondant. It looks great.
I had to check out your death star for future cake ideas. Excellent job, you did a great job making the squares so straight. I'm sure your husband loved it, I know mine would.
