Beluga Airbus And Race Cars
My friend and I collaborated on this one, this was a monster of a birthday cake! Three 12" layers, 1 chocolate, 2 white, covered in MMF. Royal Icing clouds and skywriting. I modeled the Beluga plane with RCT, covered it in royal icing, then covered it in fondant. The birthday boy is an airplane fanatic and requested this specific plane along with race cars, hence the highway and candleholders. The rest was sort of designed as we went. As always, comments and constructive criticism are welcomed!
excellent idea!! Great job!
You have did a great job....very creative and very cool. :)
Great job. Ilove the lettering. Is it royal icing or did you use alphabeth cutters on fondant?
Thank you guys for all the nice comments!
Grr...I hit the enter key too soon! haha Yes, the letters are royal icing, I just piped them on wax paper over a font printed from the computer and let them dry overnight.
Wow, what a cute cake! Love all of the colors and details, and the cake board is an adorable touch.
