Baby Shower Cake
This is my first shower cake. I had lots of inspiration from other C.C. cakes. The mom-to-be wanted lemon and chocolate so I did lemon butter cake with lemon curd filling and chocolate bc under the fondant. The shower hostesses wanted the "yeah, baby, yeah" on it. There were some boo-boo's on the top but I think the ribbon and dot border distracted the eye from it...I hope anyway.
Your distractions worked because I can't make out any errors! It gives me a 60's feel! Very nice.
I can't see any boo boo's. It's so cute and different. Great job!
The groovy circles were from the invitation. I cut them out of the invite and used them to make the same circles for the cake.
