Flutterbies In The Grass

I had a hard time calling these little guys 'butterflies', so I thought 'flutterbies' was much more appropriate....

I have been wanting to try individual blades of grass for a while - I was surprised at how little time they took. I'll do them again, but I think I'd like to try 3-D butterflies flying off the cake next time.

There are two flutterbies, one on each side of the cake. The cake is chocolate with mint buttercream and fondant.

Your cake is very pretty! It's so cute that you called them flutterbies, we have been calling them that since my 15yr old was little. That's what he called them!!
