As an alternative to grooms cake, I made truffle trees, just attached truffles with toothpicks to a stryofoam cone after covering the cone in choc.

lmn4881, the truffles are just cake balls covered in choc. I found the directions on CC in the tutorial section, sorry I don't have an imparticular recipe, just a bunch of left over cake scraps mixed with diff. things like flav. bc or ganache.
