This was my 2nd attempt at a cake and while I was pretty pleased with the way it came out, I certainly learned a lot about what not to do.  For example, when stacking a cake like this, it's best to not let the fondant drape over the sides or the icing from the center of the base cake will probably ooze out from the weight during traveling for the delivery.  All over your lap.

It looks great. As for the oozing, did you have a support plate of some kind and dowels under the purse? If not, that is probably where the ooze-forcing weight came from.

Nice job, I think I would have written directly on the green instead of the plaque so you could see it better. How much ooze have I suffered? lol

I added dowels through the purse to the base but no support plate... I didn't even THINK of that. Thanks for the info!! :-)
