Cars are hard to do aren't they? I hand painted a car too - never again. I like the composition of your cake and your use of space is excellent. Your blue is very pretty. I 'm not sure if I care for the top border - it seems last minute compared to your lovely shell border. I was told on another website that the cake board should be between 2 & 3 inches bigger and it would give your shells more room. I prefer no writing on the cake unless it is a plaque, tag or cake board. But that's my issue not your...
I think you got the car right on! It even looks like its coming at me. Your top border is a little uneven (I like the look on the right side; the left side is a little squished).
Critique group member: The hand painting on the car looks great, but it seems like the perspective is not quite right. Also your top border is very uneven but your shells look great.
