This cake was made for a welcome home celebration! The idea was out of a Wilton book, but this cake has a ton more people on it. BC icing, sugar cookies with royal icing faces.
It was made with a tall tier stand construction. There is a column up the middle. There are step by step instructions in the Wilton 2007 Yearbook. It is just brown icing piped on. The branches are florist wire taped together to make them strong and fake leaves taped on also.
It wasn't too bad. Just time consuming. Make the cookies and faces several days in advance. i am not sure. If there is anything you want to know specifically, you can pm me!
