This was my first wedding cake for a customer and my first disaster. I stacked the bottom two cakes before I got there and when I tried to lift the cake to get my hand under it, the middle tier slid off the bottom and I had to catch it with my hands. I brought my tools with me and because it was whipped frosting I smoothed my fingerprints out and you couldn't tell anything happened.
