Ivory Drapes And Roses

Here's a cake I finished today. 3 tiers - bottom - white w/ strawberry cream, chocolate w/ raspberry cream and white w/ orange cream. All filling and frosting under fondant was Italian meringue buttercream. Cream gumpaste roses and rose buds, periwinkle gumpaste hydrangeas. Cream fondant w/ fondant drapes, dusted w/ antique silk luster dust. 90 degrees and muggy! YUCK! But the cake was holding up great!

Are you sure that those aren't real flowers? O.k. I believe you those are so beautiful that I would rather get those on valentines day than real flowers.

Beautiful, just beautiful! I also love the colour combination you used. I've never seen leaves like these, really pretty! They bring out the best in your flowers! Can I ask you how you wired the larger roses because I've done large gumpaste roses before and they are so heavy! Won't the whole rose drop off?
