This is the mailbox cake that won me the dessert contest at the company picnic last year. (I work for the US Postal Service.) I used a very long bread pan that I . . . uhhh, found in the kitchen when we bought this house. ;-P I trimmed the top edges to round it off. For the door, I just lopped of the end of the cake and laid it down. The flag, numbers, and letters are all made from candy melts.
