Luau party- pineapple upside down cake with giant pineapple candle in center. Flip flops are white cakes, buttercream frosting and lei. Royal icing flowers on lei. Flowers around cakes are candles too. Chocolate candy seashells and graham cracker sand.

how did you get the shape for the flip flops?
The flip flops were made by tracing the outline of a real flip flip on paper, cutting it out and outlining the shoe onto the cake.

I used the small flower and leaf cutter from the gumpaste flower set to imprint the design, the use the brushed embroidary technique to fill in the flowers.
