Charlie & The Chocolate Factory
My brief for this cake was something to fit into a Charlie & the Chocolate Factory theme party. I had so much fun designing and making this (although my hand now has no feeling from piping all that grass!). 6in strawberry, 8in vanilla & 10in chocolate cakes filled with matching buttercreams. Decorated in vanilla buttercream with fondant ticket, lettering and number. 30 butter cookies decorated to look like lollies with royal icing and disco glitter. Various candies used borders and a melted chocolate river.
