hand carved and covered in MM fondant, dry luster dusts... the back of a round icing tip was used to mark the scales. vanilla and gel color used for the black details. my take on a catfish. i loved making this cake, and hated letting it go!
Understandable that you didn't want to let him go-he's a beauty. I can't believe how true to life this fish looks and I love how the luster dust turned out. That tail is just amazing, and the bubbles give it that extra detail your cakes always have. First rate cake.
