In album: reindeer
This is my first attempt at flood icing with royal icing. I have learnt a few lesson about bubbles in the icing and the thickness of the icing but quite happy with the result. It did break as I took it off the paper but it is a practice one for my Christmas cake, which is fruit cake and will be left to mature.

You pipe the basic outline with royal icing, thin down the rest of the royal icing and pipe it into the sections. The icing should then settle into the section. Takes a bit of time as you have to wait until each touching section dries. Hope this helps.
