Maltese/doghouse

I made this for a raffle for the local animal shelter that was desperately in need of funds.

Thanks to Sugarflowers and Merissa for their help and inspiration.

I still hate fondant. The doghouse was covered with it and I got my usual bulges.

The rest was buttercream.

They sold raffle tickets for this cake and sold $550 worth.

They left it in the cardboard box I delivered it in because they were afraid someone would touch it. OY!!

My goodness, no way..the bulges ( that I DON"T SEE!! lol) would make the wooden dog house look realistic and rustic! What a great way to raise funds for such a worthy cause!

My goodness, that has to make you feel good that it brought that much money! Great cake, to hate fondant, you sure did good work with it! Love the doggy, the fence, the grass, everything!
