Spun Sugar Snow Cake

Spun Sugar Snow Cake on Cake Central

My very first time doing spun sugar! Took a few batches to figure out how to do it, and a trip to the store for a whisk to make into a "tool". Not perfect but I like the way it turned out anyways. (This was a "test" cake for a party that I am doing next week) My family loves when I "test"....LOL

Got up this morning and it was sort of "melding", I think 24 hours is about all the time you get for it to look really feathery. I had a lot of fun doing this, but be warned......you will be cleaning up for a long time, it tends to go everywhere when you "flick" to make the threads. But fun!!!!

how long did the sugar "hold up" , just wondering if begins to soften after awhile. your spun sugar looks so pretty.
