This is my "recreated" Eagle scout cake that I had to repair on site because my layers shifted in transit due to bumpy roads and cheap straw doweling. (See Disaster cakes - Cheap straws & LA roads for gory details) Eagle topper was MMF though i would not recommend MMF for this since it took forever to harden. Live and learn! Ribbons were also MMF, patches were printed on photopaper, not edible.

Your eagle is fabulous, sorry you had such bad luck, but the cake is great!

That is amazing! I would have just sat down & cried!!! I love this cake! I can't wait til my boys get their Eagle!
