Rubber Chicken Birthday Cake
my oldest nephew decided to turn his b'day cake into a funny challenge for me. he wanted a rubber chicken cake. took about 2 hours to make. the base is devils food cake, icing is whipped cream, and the fondant is mmf. (I ran out of box stuff and had the stuff for mmf on hand, so i decided to try it. family loves it!) head wings and feet are sculpted mmf, body is sculpted cake. it was priceless to see the look on my family's face when they saw it!!

oh that is hilarious! We had a band mascot in hs called "Chicken George", a rubber chicken that looked like this. Brought back many memories. And no, Ihave no clue who came up with "Chicken George" but it went on for over 20 years!
