I saw the idea on here - using vegetable cans to bake the cakes. This is a great idea! I'm going to switch out the tealights I've put in with the battery-operated tealights so that I can have them on during our office holiday luncheon. Thanks for the great ideas, guys!
Could you explain about what kind of candles you are going to be using, and where to get them. I think it would be neat to have them on throught out a party. [email protected]
You can google battery operated tea lights and find some. I know they have them at Michaels. Probably other craft stores as well.

Those are different. How do you cut and serve the cake so that you don't accidentally get part of the candle in with it?
The candle is inside a little tin holder. You pull it up and straight out and there's nothing of the candle that's left in the cake. I don't think I would try to actually burn these candles, that's why I'm going to switch them out to the battery operated tealights. Oh, and they're sitting on top of fondant.
