Most Expensive Cake I Have Ever Made, Well Sort Of..
This is a cake I made tonight for my family's thanksgiving dinner. Well this cake was made with $90 dollar pears. No kidding the pears are from France and are supposed to be the best. They taste to me like normal every day pears, and NO I DID NOT PAY THAT FOR THE PEARS, they where a gift for my hubby, he got a package of pears that contained 6 of them along with a catalog from the company, and there they where on the front cover with a sticker price of $90 w/o shipping. WOW!
